Medieval Súria
What we find here is a village deeply rooted in its Medieval past. The Castle and the Old Quarter are its main attractions, and all the streets seem to follow the same pattern: narrow, winding, and full of arcades. Hovering over the village, the Medieval-looking nucleus has been growing around what used to be the Castle of the Barons of Súria.
Recent remodelling has turned the castle into a public space, the main tourist attraction of the village of Súria. Visitors are invited to learn the different key stages in the village's development through a guided tour of the castle's interior.
An impressive light-and-sound montage returns the castle to its 14th century aspect, projecting a porch on what must have been the central courtyard, a hall of arms, and the tower that used to be a prison.
